About Ken McElrath

Ken is a design thinker, author, artist, and a serial entrepreneur. He founded Cazabba, inc. in 2002. He's launched two additional companies since then: Skoodat, and Skuid, Inc. The art of business.

Cazabba, Inc. provides creative, marketing and technology services to a variety of small businesses, with a special focus on startup companies. Cazabba has helped launch numerous successful businesses over the past 15 years. Currently, Cazabba holds a significant equity interest in two of these companies, Skuid, Inc. and Skoodat LLC. Ken currently spends well over 100% of his work life serving as CEO of Skuid, Inc.

The business of art.

In the realm of fine art, Ken McElrath is primarily known as a photographer and designer. But he also enjoys oil painting and woodworking. At one point, Cazabba opened up its Phoenix office as an art gallery, displaying Ken’s work, along with works of many of his artist friends. The Cazabba gallery closed when Cazabba moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2008, but Ken continues to make and sell his fine art.

Cazabba is actually an acronym.

The name Cazabba is completely made up. The intent was to create a new word that would sound somewhat magical, like "abracadabra," because our clients often say we work miracles for them. And of course, the URL had to be available. (Not an easy task, even back in 2002). But the word is also an acronym for some of the items mentioned above: California (CA) Arizona (AZ) Art Business (AB) and Business Arts (BA). Mush them all together and you have Cazabba. Voila!

Since founding, Cazabba has worked with companies all over the U.S.A and even south of the border in Mexico, doing some pretty magical stuff. Cazabba is truly a place "where imagination moves you."
